GENERAL DESCRIPTION:


St. Louis Area Foodbank is looking for a Service Insights Coordinator with a passion to serve others in our mission to end hunger in our community. As part of the Partner Agency Services team, you will be supporting our efforts to utilize data to effectively understand and serve those in our service area by implementing an electronic data collection system throughout our partner network. We're looking for a data-savvy professional who can effectively train partners, conduct, and manage partner intake processes, maintain program documentation, review data insights reports, and lead service insights interns and volunteers. RESPONSIBILITIES:


Project Management


  • Directly oversees Service Insights relationships ensuring excellent customer service, encouragement, and support to increase utilization and deployment of data collection tools.
  • Develop and direct implementation plan for rollout of service insights software and ongoing programming through our 26-county territory in Missouri and Illinois.
  • Devise and direct project specifications and strategies including goals, measurements, and desired outcomes.
  • Monitor, report, and make recommendations on edits needed to the program budget
  • Develop implementation plan to rollout and implement service insights throughout the St. Louis Area Foodbank network
  • Design and document trainings and track training progress
  • Consult on hardware purchases and other technology needs for optimal service insights set-up and usage at sites
  • Ensure that partners understand compliance rules and are using provided materials and postings
  • Ensure security and privacy by establishing appropriate user roles and permissions.
  • Create models to identify trends, track changes across time, measure efficacy and recommend evolutions.
  • Work with management team to structure an analytic environment that supports ongoing problem-solving, leveraging expanding data tied to people and ending hunger
  • Locate and define any new food bank process improvement opportunities, and identify and recommend ways to optimize resources by streamlining efforts

Teamwork


  • Summarize and share feedback from partners related to system and training materials and adjust as needed
  • Connect and communicate with the Partner Agency Services team regarding program updates and agency assistance
  • Coordinate with other departments in the facilitation of information for grants, third party requests and other internal data needs related to service insights
  • Works cross functionally to identify outcomes and develop metrics to support and reinforce philanthropic efforts and ensure program is resourced appropriately.


Technical Ability


  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies including duplicates, typos, and overuse of anonymous visits-working to address these issues at both the agency and Network Level
  • Analyze reports and provide programmatic recommendations using data for a variety of stakeholders
  • Monitor data for agency compliance with data hygiene best practices and address issues with agencies as they arise
  • Communicate with partner agencies on an ongoing basis; including providing service insights training to partner agency volunteers and providing deliverables.
  • Participate in service insights database management. Including agency support, managing duplicates and ad hoc reporting
  • Assess and update the documentation for the service insights program.
  • Design and implement the client intake process at partner agency sites.
  • Assist with low-level technology issues, e.g. agency login procedures and wi-fi connections.
  • Asist in the creation and development of a service insights volunteer group to establish and maintain implementation efficiency Manage and support volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of two years of demonstrated success in training or adult education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, social science research, business administration, education or another related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • Strong customer focus.
    • Experience in statistical or other data analysis
    • Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), a plus.
    • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
    • Ability to deliver presentations and reports that include technical information
    • Experience working with volunteers or nonprofit organizations, a plus.
    • Strong and proven understanding of data cleanup challenges, data management strategies, and logical database design
    • Experience working with databases
    • Demonstrated success in team environments as well as competencies in adaptability, collaboration, and communication. Self-starter with superior problem solving and conflict management skills.
    • Comfortable doing in person and remote training
  • Strong sense of business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, handle interruptions, maintain focus on tasks and produce accurate work.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a large population of various racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds Proficient with MS office suite and web-based applications.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Reliable transportation with proof of insurance and be willing to travel throughout jurisdiction with occasional overnight stays.
  • Up to 50% travel required
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check.


This position requires standing for extended periods of time, both in and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions. Special events and other projects related to this position may require evening and/or weekend work.
