General Description/Position Summary:


The primary purpose of the Partner Agency Services Coordinator is to advance the foodbank's mission by embodying the principles of compliance, capacity and coaching with agency partners and support program compliance to ensure adequate assistance is provided throughout our 26-county service territory. Responsibilities include developing and implementing various initiatives related to the reduction of food insecurities, including, but not limited to, federal programs such as TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) and CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food Program); and non-federally subsidized programs within food pantries, soup kitchens, and residential facilities.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct monitoring visits throughout 26-county service territory.
  • Monitor the member agencies and member programs to ensure all partners comply with Feeding America, St. Louis Area Foodbank, and other relevant sanctioning body's operating guidelines, regulations, and rules.
  • Outreach and onboard a robust network of partners throughout our 26-county service territory.
  • Outreach and onboard new CSFP sites and support current partners in fostering existing caseload.
  • Prepare and maintain member agency and member program paperwork, including but not limited to monitoring forms, food safety certifications, and supporting compliance documentation.
  • Help to maintain policy manuals for all CSFP, TEFAP and non-federally subsidized programs.
  • Build capacity within Foodbank's network by supporting food assistance initiatives that will ensure the growth and success of all foodbank partners.
  • Support and promote educational and training efforts with member agencies that will improve and update their operational practices, including but not limited to compliance, capability and growth, and overall operational success.
  • Compile accurate, periodic agency reports for CSFP, TEFAP and Non-TEFAP programs.
  • Disseminate network resources that help to promote engagement, collaboration, and capacity building among partners.
  • Field agency and client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Support partners around implementation of Link 2 Feed and provide ongoing assistance when questions arise.
  • Serve as support for the Partner Agency Services Representative, Link2Feed Coordinator, and fellow Partner Agency Services Coordinators.
  • Attend program-related training conferences and workshops, specifically those offered by Feeding America, and by other similar organizations as appropriate.
  • Collaborate and support SLAFB teams as it relates to network requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors' degree from an accredited university required. Emphasis in Non-Profit Administration, Public Health or other related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience assisting with outreach initiatives or volunteer activities for a non-profit organization strongly preferred. Previous experience managing agency partners a plus.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other web-based applications.
  • Strong customer focus.

  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, handle interruptions, maintain focus on tasks and produce accurate work.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation with proof of insurance and be willing to travel throughout jurisdiction with occasional overnight stays.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check

This position requires standing for extended periods of time, both in and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions. Special events and other projects related to this position may require evening and/or weekend work. Meeting attendance may require overnight travel.
