Food Solicitation Coordinator

A program position responsible for implementing and maintaining the various programs used by the St. Louis Area Foodbank to raise food and awareness to help feed those in need.

Support those efforts by ensuring adequate public relations tools are developed.  Oversees and implements all aspects of the food drive program.  Build capacity by assisting the Distribution Manager within the food manufacturing division and ensure the growth and success of all Foodbank programs.

 Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective food donors.
• Maintain Current Donor Listing
• Coordinate the growth and success of food solicitation program.
• Work with VP of Product Sourcing & Distribution Manager to grow overall product donations.
• Attend position relevant meetings throughout the communities we serve that help strengthen the organization.
• Complete accurate monthly reports for management.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree and experience
• Strong customer focus
• Excellent organization skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects, handle interruptions, maintain focus on tasks and produce accurate work
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check
